About us
QIC commenced operations in 1989 and was formally established in 1991. Since then, we have grown to be one of the largest institutional investment managers in Australia, with 88 clients and $60.6 billion* in funds under management.
Our heritage as a government owned corporation has contributed to a culture that puts our clients first. We continually strive to find better ways to meet and exceed our clients' investment objectives. Our unique history of managing the total investment portfolio for very large clients has enabled us to deliver innovative investment solutions, which few other fund managers have been able to do.

Today, QIC is a leading provider of dynamic investment solutions for superannuation funds and other institutional investors. - Customised and cost-efficient inflation protection solutions where portfolio positions are constantly refined to reflect current market conditions and take advantage of opportunities.
- Flexible and tailored currency overlay solutions, which allow funds to hedge their undesired currency exposures while helping to manage residual risks, including counterparty risk and fund liquidity.

As a house of highly specialised investment boutiques, we offer practical investment solutions across a wide range of asset classes, as well as strategic solutions at the whole-of-fund level.
